I’m sorry, but Dr. Inyoung Yang, D.C. is not accepting new patients at this time.

If you are already scheduled, please note the following:

It may have started with a headache, back pain, neck pain, or that pulled muscle that really never got better. Now you’re taking way too much over-the-counter pain medication to try to ease it and your sleep is suffering. When you’ve got pain and you’re looking to get past the medications and invasive treatments, perhaps a visit to Dr. Yang is in order. If you’ve never been to one, here is what to expect when you first go in to Dr. Yang Wellness Center appointment.

Make sure you drink plenty of water for your first treatment and any other health information such as blood work, X-ray, MRI result etc to access your condition better.

When you get to the office you will be handed forms to fill out that will let the office know about your health history and what you are coming to the doctor for today. There may be releases for x-rays, if that is also needed. After you fill out this paperwork, you’ll turn it back in and wait to be seen. When called back from the waiting room, you’ll first see the doctor and she will run some tests typically be a reflex, neurological and orthopedic tests done to test for muscle tone and range of motion and acupuncture analysis.

After those initial test are completed you will be evaluated and the doctor will go over what they believe may be wrong and their treatment plan. There could be other tests needed or follow-up care. Dr. Yang is going to be dedicated to getting you healed and feeling better, with better range of motion and with as little pain as possible.

Depending on diagnosis and expected treatment plan, you may be getting acupuncture, acupressre, cupping, soft tissue work, electrical stimulation, decompression, taping, alignments, or other manipulations. Your doctor will discuss all of this ahead of time so there are no surprises. There may be several of these done in a visit, or only one. Again, it will depend on the treatment plan and your diagnosis.

After the visit you may feel better, or you may feel slightly worse in the beginning. After a few hours, however, if you were feeling worse you should begin to start icing 20 min on with an hour off cycle to feel more relaxed and at ease with your muscles and joints relaxing and adjusting to their proper alignment. You may need more than one treatment to get your body back into balance, You are always in control of your treatment. If a follow-up visit is planned, you will get a card telling you of your next appointment date. Appointments are generally relaxing and easy, you should feel better immediately or within a few visits. Your visits may not be the same every time you go, depending on your diagnosis. Your doctor will space these treatments as needed for the best possible outcome.
